THE MECHANISM
Foam cups do two things: add bulk, and trap heat. We removed them. A fine open-knit mesh carries the weight through the band, so you get real lift with air moving through it. By 3 p.m., that is the whole difference.

Foam banks heat all day: you feel it by mid-afternoon. Open mesh sheds it instead, so the last hour of the day feels like the first.
Sheer on the frame, covered where it counts. The knit is densest over the center of the cup.
Machine cold in a mesh bag, or hand wash. Air dry. The mesh is built to keep its shape.
